If anyone has said hi to me today in their LJs, heh, I will probably miss it. I strongly suggest you link me. As it is, I'm just grateful anyone remembers me. To paraphrase what I answered to y'all above earlier, this was my day:

I just got in from a busy day at work that did net me Supernatural Season three and my friend's (my darling Miki!) for cake that netted me goodies and a half bottle of Shiroz consumed. :D.

That Shiroz is making the Vice Presidential candidates debate go down a LOT better and the coffee is keeping me alert for Lois and Clark, aka, Smallville, ersatz season eight *eg* and Supernatural.

It's been a good, albeit, tiring day. And then I come home to the nice surprise of lovely, happy birthday wishes from all of you when I didn't even expect anyone to even remember me with my super limited on line time. Thank you all, sweeties!

To sum up, it's a been a good day.

And, heh, my Smallville reactions? *snerk* Were very muted thanks to the wine. Though I did think them very loud. *koff*

Cutting the Lex/Supes fight by 90 percent and leaving only the, "Who's your Daddy, now?" line and Lex's heavy breathing, with his heaving shirtless torso?

Looks even more like you just cut to the tail end of a Clexy sex scene than it does uncut.

And uncut? It already reads like a sex scene. *snerk* Bad choice of cuts, CN. *tsk*

Yet Toyman, the child molester scenes are left untouched. *sigh*

I'll say no more for those of you seeing Superman: Doomsday for the first time. And *groan* are trying to gird their loins in preparation for the 8th season of SV.

7:31pm: We're baaaaaa-ack!
yavannauk and I are back from Vegas where fun was had by all - without gambling, I might add.

*chuckling* I'm the perfect person to work casino accounting back in my town. I have no desire to gamble, I understand the odds and even if I did? Accounting people are not allowed by state Gaming law to gamble in their own casinos of employment.

So, Vegas was fun as an adult Disney World with very little money spent and lots of pics taken.

yavannauk is unpacking behind me as I type; Star Trek Enterprise is on (do not judge me! *g*) and I have her cold! *sigh*

But it has been so worth it! More when we are each awake and can update further. She's here all week while I am on vacation. *dances in my chair!*

And see my purty, purty icon made by herohunter above? She and ladydreamer have co-written a lovely (and yes, completed for the WIP phobics!) Sweet November/Kicking It Old Skool cross-over starring Brandon/Kip and it works! And it works well, IMO.

It is currently being posted in parts on the comm: kippin_it_real. It's a sweet - but not sugary, first-time story and it will totally put a different spin on all of Kip's actions in the movie. It pretty much begins a short time after the movie ends and I think it's worth the ride. Go, read! ;D

Ok, lunch over, back to cleaning.

Wanna go back to bed to sleep and then watch more of the Twilight Zone Marathon on Sci Fi Channel! *g*

And my New Year came in at 9PM NV time as that is 12 midnight NY time. We watched the NYC feed on CNN. And then I left my darling Miki and her mom and came home. After some insomnia from coffee that my one glass of champagne didn't quite kill *g*, I fell down and went boom.

Today? Workies as usual and grateful for it, holiday not withstanding.

I hope all of us have a better, healthier and happier New Year. I miss you all, let alone the LJ time to keep up with you.

Before you faint? No, unlike Michael Rosenbaum's delightful sexy kookiness and whose bones I *still* wanna jump to this day, David Hewlett does not do it for me. But, I freely admit, I do think the actor is adorable as a person and getting more endearing in his 'annoying-ness' as Rodney McKay the longer Stargate Atlantis is on the air.

But, him and the Flan together? And in the ultimate hurt-comfort scenario: must save each other - in each other's heads - Ooo, lemme see your thoughts/dreams and revealing romantic feelings for each other episode?
